Longevity Programme guide

Functional training. Matched to today.

Functional training supports strength, movement capacity and the physical demands of daily life. The programme starts from what your body can manage now, then follows a defined progression.

In short

Foundation and Precision include recorded functional training. Legacy adds live coaching online or in person. Every tier keeps training alongside precision nutrition for the full 12-month membership.

Guide overview

Choose the delivery depth, not a different purpose.

All three tiers use functional training to support useful movement and long-term capacity. Legacy changes the level of live coaching, while the programme's nutrition and clinical layers remain in place.
Foundation

Structured recorded sessions

A consistent format for members who can follow the planned sessions independently.

Precision

Recorded training plus deeper testing

Training delivery remains recorded while the membership adds its microbiome layer.

Legacy

Live online or offline coaching

Real-time observation, adjustment and progression are added to the full programme.

01

What functional training means

The focus is useful movement: strength, control, mobility and the capacity required for work and daily life. The programme is not organised around a generic transformation template.

Clinical context and current ability determine where the programme starts. Progression should remain technically appropriate and manageable.

02

Recorded programming

Foundation and Precision use structured recorded sessions. This gives members a consistent programme they can follow around a demanding schedule.

The recorded format does not change the clinical testing or nutrition calendar. Those parts remain present at every tier.

03

Live coaching at Legacy

Legacy includes live functional training online or offline. The coach can observe movement, adjust execution and guide progression in real time.

Live delivery adds coaching access; it does not turn the membership into a fitness-first programme. Precision nutrition remains an equal pillar.

04

How training fits the year

Training runs from the beginning of the membership through Month 12. The Month 3 and Month 9 priority checks do not interrupt it.

When a major panel or clinical review changes what the team needs to prioritise, the programme has a clear point to reconsider the training direction.

05

How progression is decided

  1. Start from current movement capacity, experience and relevant clinical context.
  2. Learn the required movement with a manageable level of difficulty.
  3. Progress only when control, tolerance and recovery support the next step.
  4. Reconsider direction when pain, illness, travel or a clinical review changes the context.
06

What the programme is not designed to replace

Functional training does not replace physiotherapy, injury rehabilitation, sports medicine or treatment for a diagnosed condition. Athletes can use the programme alongside an existing performance team, but it should not compete with that team's role.

Members should report pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness or another concerning response rather than trying to work through it.

Common questions

Clear answers before you choose a next step.

Is functional training a stand-alone gym programme?

No. The focus is useful movement, strength and capacity within a wider clinical programme that gives equal weight to precision nutrition.

Do I need access to a gym?

Equipment and setting depend on the planned session and tier. The team will explain what is needed before the programme begins rather than assuming every member has the same setup.

What if I have pain or a recent injury?

Pain, injury and post-operative concerns need appropriate assessment. Functional training should not replace medical, sports medicine or rehabilitation care when that is required.
